It has been suggested by many croquet players that there is a lack of available
information about individual games played in tournaments and competitions
and that it would be good to have some sort of record of these.

It is natural to be inquisitive as to the progress of friends in other clubs and
show interest in competition results other than ones own club. I have frequently
been asked to look into this situation. I have taken the opportunity to create this experimental Web site and try to establish a record of games in all tournaments and competitions within the South West area and others where available.

Much will depend on the willingness and effort of club officials, tournament
managers and organisers of competitions in sending results to this Web site
and be generous with their time in doing so.

Although I can not guarantee the success of this experiment, I will do my best
to keep the details up to date as time avails. I rely heavily on the participation
of willing people but also understand the feeling of any club that does not wish
internal competitions to be made public.
Results will be divided into categories as follows with results from Golf & Association Croquet.

CA Calendar Tournaments and Competitions which take place within the South West Area.
I should be able to obtain results from the appointed Tournament Managers.

    South West Federation League Matches.
Individual game results within League Matches for both Association & Golf Croquet.

    Internal Club Competitions.
Heavily reliable on the help of individual Club Competition Managers.

    Friendly Matches between Clubs.
This section will only be successful if contributions are received.
This is, for the time being,
an experimental idea and
any helpful suggestions
would be most welcome.

A section will also
be available for
advertising tournaments,
competitions and other
information such as
tournament vacancies.
